The aim of the scheme is to help consumers to avoid rip-offs and cowboys by providing a list of reputable local businesses.
Member companies have been independently checked by the local authority Trading Standards Service, and are subjected to stringent checks by Trading Standards.
We are also members of Autosafe, a fast-growing network of independent garages staffed by trained diagnostic technicians using only the best quality of both products and tools.
All Autosafe garages work to an agreed Code of Practice to ensure problem-free service, and work carried out on your vehicle, such as MOTs and car servicing, is covered under the Autosafe Nationwide Parts Warranty for either 12,000 miles or 12 months.
Launched in 2008, the Code safeguards consumer interests by helping to identify responsible garages and encouraging the sector to set and maintain a high standard of customer service.
It offers motorists an online search facility, free consumer advice, and free conciliation and low-cost, legally binding arbitration.
